Emanuel’s professional journey is distinguished by a commitment to excellence and a passion for promoting harmony amidst diversity. As an ADR Institute of Ontario Qualified Mediator (Q.Med) and IMI Qualified Mediator, he possesses the skills and credentials to facilitate dialogue and resolve disputes effectively. Additionally, his certifications as a CICR TPN Certified and MTI CMT-certified practitioner further attest to his proficiency in the field of conflict resolution.
Beyond his professional accolades, Emanuel is a devoted husband and father of three, finding inspiration and motivation in the love and support of his family. He is also the co-founder of Ottawa’s FC Young Lions, a grassroots soccer team that provides newcomer youth from the Horn of Africa with a supportive community through athletics. Emanuel’s initiative demonstrates his commitment to creating innovative mechanisms for dialogue and harmony-building, offering a space where young leaders can bond, learn valuable life skills, and cultivate meaningful connections. This grassroots approach reflects Emanuel’s belief in the transformative power of sports as a catalyst for social cohesion and empowerment. His personal experiences as an immigrant and a member of a multicultural household inform his work, deepening his empathy and understanding of the challenges inherent in navigating cultural differences.
